Scotland native Nikki Patterson set a Guinness World Record with 16 tattoos dedicated to Eminem.
Eminem has one of the most dedicated fanbases in the history of music. To his credit, the Detroit MC single-handedly added a term for his often-deranged followers to the dictionary. Earlier this week, a 35-year old Scottish woman broke the Guinness World Record for the highest number of tattoos depicting the same musician.
Nikki Patterson, who works as a nail technician, has gotten 15 different portraits of Eminem tattooed on her arms, legs, chest, and fingers, and 28 separate tattoos in total inspired by him.
“I heard “Stan” when I was 14 and had never heard anything like that before,” she said in an interview with BBC. “It blew me away.”

During COVID-19 lockdowns, Patterson reached out to the Guinness Book of World Records. Shortly thereafter, a dermatologist confirmed the record. Footage of the verification process will be included in a forthcoming documentary. In the time since officially breaking the record, she’s added yet another Eminem tattoo.
“The portraits began three years ago,” she continued. “I loved everything about them. I adored them and had to get more. He’s been the one constant in my life.”
According to Patterson’s Instagram bio–her username is @crazyeminemlady–she’s seen him in concert seven times.
“I’ve struggled with body issues all my life,” she said in an interview with Metro UK. “I started looking for clothes which would show it off, it’s been one of the happiest periods of my life where I have come into my own.”
