Following news that Donald and Stephen Glover's Deadpool animated series was canceled by FX because of "creative differences," Donald released a mock script for the show on Twitter addressing many of the reasons why it was possibly canned by the TV channel.

In it, he referenced a Taylor Swift-based episode that might have contributed to the decision. And now, Stephen has confirmed that not only did such an episode exist but it played a part in why the series was canceled.

"There really was a Taylor Swift episode," Stephen wrote in a since-deleted tweet, according to a report from The Wrap. "It was HILARIOUS. And it definitely was the last straw lol."

Previously, FX had released the following statement in regards to the show's canceling:

"Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel's Deadpool animated series. FX will no longer be involved with the project. FX and Marvel [will] have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on Legion, which will continue."

Some had even suggested that Donald's busy schedule had stopped him from being able to work on the series, a claim he addressed when he released the mock script. Regardless, the Glover brothers remain busy. The pair's critically-acclaimed TV series Atlanta is halfway through its second season.
