Update: It's official, Desus Nice and The Kid Mero are leaving Viceland. They are headed to Showtime to launch the network's first late-night show.
Deadline is reporting that the show will debut in 2019. Speaking on the new move, Desus said:
We’re honored and excited to be joining the Showtime family...The brand is stronger than ever and we look forward to continuing to make amazing authentic television that will make your wiggington explode.
The Kid Mero said:
I’m excited to be joining a network with such a strong foundation and track record of producing fuegooooo and to break new ground with a late-night comedy show!

It's been almost two years since Desus Nice and The Kid Mero launched their popular late night show Desus & Mero show on Viceland.
The two are getting ready to take their talents to another network.

According to Deadline, Desus and Mero are leaving Viceland, their home since October 17, 2016. Viceland reportedly tried to offer Desus and Mero a new deal, but the two turned it down.
So what's next? According to Deadline, the duo are reportedly in talks with Showtime for a weekly show.

The final episode of the Viceland version of Desus & Mero is expected to air on June 28th. Whatever happens, let's just hope they bring the rainbow with them.
