As New York shakes off the FOMO from last month's historic Radio City Music Hall residency, Dave Chappelle is already gearing up for another marathon of performances.
Next Tuesday, September 19th, Chappelle will commence an 11-night, 17-show stay at the Warner Theatre in his hometown of Washington, DC, the backdrop to his breakout special, Killin' Them Softly. The stand-up superhero will take the stage sometimes twice-per-night during the forthcoming installation; an ongoing celebration of his 30th years in comedy, this time, all by his lonesome with no musical acts announced in support. Earlier this year, Chappelle released two of three specials promised in a $60 million deal with the streaming giant. No date has been set for the final as of yet, though it has been speculated that the Radio City shows were filmed for inclusion.
