Danny Brown Says Ninja of South African Rap Duo Die Antwoord Sexually Assaulted Him

While appearing on podcast 2 Bears, 1 Cave, Danny Brown said that Die Antwoord member Ninja sexually assaulted him in Paris.

Danny Brown is breaking his silence on Ninja, one-half of South African rap duo Die Antwoord. During an appearance on podcast 2 Bears, 1 Cave, the Detroit rapper said that Ninja sexually assaulted him in Paris by sitting on his lap and attempting to kiss him.

“The nigga was sitting on my lap trying to make out with me, and it freaked me out,” Brown said. “I played this show and then my DJ had an afterparty. [Ninja] tried to put it on you with Yolandi [the fellow member of Die Antwoord] like, ‘You know what I’m saying? My bitch ready to…'”

Brown later said that Ninja asked what hotel he was staying in, to which Brown refused to share. Instead of taking Brown's no for an answer, Ninja allegedly responded, “‘Don’t worry, I’ll find you.'”

“That’s what started making me pound drinks because I’m like, ‘I might have to stab this n***a tonight,” Brown continued. “Because if this n***a knock on my hotel room door, bro, it’s gonna be a big deal.”

During the interview, Brown was shown a picture of Ninja, and the rapper confirmed that it was the same person who sexually assaulted him. Yeah, Ninja. Ninja tried to fuck me,” he said. “I was scared. They’ve been getting canceled a lot lately, been doing a lot of weird shit. But he always throw Yolandi on you. I think that’s how he’s been fucking niggas. Fuck them, though! Fuck them. I could’ve canceled cuz #metoo. I was sexually assaulted by Ninja. He know I ain’t lying!”

Brown isn't the only person making allegations towards Ninja. In 2019, Australian artist Zhenai Sparkes accused the South African artist of sexually assaulting her in 2013. Also in 2019, Dionna Dal Monte said that Ninja sexually assaulted her in 2014.

Aside from visiting 2 Bears, 1 Cave, Brown has also gotten into the podcast game. His show The Danny Brown Show is available via YMH Studios.
