Titled My First Black Boyfriend, the book will "point out things that maybe need to be pointed out in our crazy world," Deb Futter, the senior vice president and co-publisher of Celadon (which is publishing the book), said to the New York Times.
"A lot of celebrities write books, and they don't always have something to say. I think Chris Rock has something to say," Futter also said. My First Black Boyfriend is set to drop some time in fall 2020.
"I've been a fan of Saw since the first film in 2004. I am excited by the opportunity to take this to a really intense and twisted new place," Rock said at the time.
