According to a report in Manchester Times, concert organizers say the attendee was found unresponsive on one of the music festival's campgrounds on Saturday (June 15)
Ann Ewing, the director of crisis communication at Kaleidoscope Media, said the patron had pre-existing health problems. At press time, the cause of death is unknown.
"The well-being of our patrons, staff, volunteers and artists is our primary concern, and we work diligently to ensure the safest festival possible. Earlier today, our medical team in Plaza 11 was asked to respond to a medical situation in a nearby campsite," Ewing said in a statement. "The Bonnaroo Medical team and Coffee County Emergency Services were on the scene within minutes.
In 2015, a 47-year-old man died after collapsing at Bonnaroo.
