Chance The Rapper and Francis Starlite have a good thing going. Starlite, having been your favorite musician's favorite musician for almost a decade before breaking out, has been a regular on tour with Chano and his Social Experiment brigade, even contributing to one ofColoring Book's most deceptively poignant cuts ("Summer Friends.")
All of this culminated in the release of the cathartic and brilliant "Friends" just a few weeks back, and this weekend, despite the nationwide scorcher, Chano joined Francis and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon to reprise the cut live and direct at Vernon's ownEaux Claires Festival in Wisconsin, which you can watch down below. The performance also served as an announcement of Francis & The Lights' joining Chance on the road for his Magnificent Coloring World Touras the tour opener. Francis has a new album en route, performed in full during his festival set, but no release date has been announced just yet.
