Ayo Edebiri, Sterling K. Brown, Zendaya Among 2026 Emmy Nominees

The 78th annual awards show airs on NBC and Peacock on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST.

The nominations for the 78th Annual Emmy Awards have been announced. The Pitt leads all nominees with a total of 25, followed by Hacks with 24 (a record for a comedy series) and Widow’s Bay with 19 (leading all new shows). Other shows earning double-digit noms were Pluribus (18 total noms), Beef (16), DTF St. Louis (13) and Saturday Night Live and Spider-Noir (11 apiece.)

HBO Max leads all networks and platforms with a total of 122 noms.

The Bear star Ayo Edebiri, Sterling K. Brown of Paradise, Abbott Elementary’s Quinta Brunson, and Zendaya’s performance on the final season of Euphoria are among the nominees in the Actor/Actress categories. Emmy winners Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) and Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere) announced many of this year’s Emmy nominees in a ceremony that streamed live from the TV Academy’s Saban Media Center. 

Mariska Hargitay is hosting the 2026 Emmys, which air live on NBC and Peacock on Monday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST.
