The rapper was announced late Thursday night after the festival had already announced its lineup, with the event teasing Jay Z's appearance through its official app by quoting Jay Z's "Encore" with the lyrics, "Now, can I get an encore? Do you want more?"
Jay Z's appearance at Made In America will be happening before the one at ACL, with the former happening on September 2-3 at Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The rapper and entrepreneur will be sharing headlining slots with J. Cole and The Chainsmokers, but the festival will also include performances from Solange, Migos, Run The Jewels, Little Dragon, Sampha, DMX and more.
