Update: Kelis reached out to THE FADER to comment on Wanderland being available in the United States for the first time.

She told the publication:

"It's been a long time coming, I had given up... well almost. I was shocked to wake up this morning to see it had been streamed. All the politics of it aside It feels good and I'm happy that it's been given it's time to live on speakers across the country.”

The album features Pusha-T and Malice.

Kelis' lost sophomore album, Wanderland, is available on all streaming platforms for the first time.

The album, the follow-up to her classic debut Kaleidoscope, was never released in the United States. Its United States release was shelved after Kelis left Virgin Records.

In a 2006 interview, taken from a THE FADER article, she said: I left Virgin right when it was released in Europe, so when it was supposed to release in the States, it just kinda fell by the wayside...I think too, a lot of people really didn't understand the music, and you know, it just got...they just didn't get it."

The album was released in multiple countries around the world. And, for years, the only way for a person in The States to listen to the album was to order an international copy online or find an illegal download.

The album features 16 tracks; all the songs were produced by The Neptunes. And there are features from Pusha-T, Malice, Roscoe, and more.
