The mash-up game has been in high gear in 2017. Next up, an extra-heavy dose of nostalgia a la Bruno Mars' recent penchant for mid-eighties boogie and mid-nineties r&b. Spotted over at The FADER, a pair of mashed-to-perfection cuts has surfaced from specialist, Roan Nair. Each paints Mariah Carey's GOAT-period vocal stretches over Mars' electric bedrocks. Carey's "Emotions" is not only key-appropriate but feels like it always belonged on the bubbly hit "That's What I Like," while "You're Mine (Eternal)" gets treated to "Versace on The Floor" and transforms into the collaborative ballad this day and age is wholly ready for. You can hear them both down below. Bruno Mars' third studio album, 24K Magic, is out now via Atlantic.
