Raphael Saadiq's fifth solo album is coming later this summer.

On August 25th, Raphael Saadiq will release his first album in eight years. The album will be called Jimmy Leeand it will be dedicated to his older brother who passed.

On Friday (July 5th) Saadiq released the latest song from the album. The track is "Glory to the Veins" and it features an appearance from legendary jazz pianist Ernest Turner.

Even though the song is only two minutes, "Glory to the Veins" is heavier than first single “Something Keeps Calling.” On the track, Saadiq is explicitly singing about his brother's drug addiction.
