Foul Mouth - The Snake Pit
Detroit’s own Foul Mouth follows Winner Takes All and Soul Louis with the Funk Brothers inspired beat tape The Snake Pit.
The Snake Pit delivers 20 masterfully crafted tracks sewn together by hypnotic soul samples flipped over brooding bass lines and the trademark bone crunching Foul mouth style of percussion. The concept behind The Snake Pit is derived from the legendary Motown Studio A located in Detroit which boasts decades of hit records. Foul mouth’s lab is the new version of the Snake Pit pumping out nothing but heat. In a similar fashion of how the Funk Brothers earned their musical chops in Detroit’s jazz and blues clubs, Foul mouth is earning his own and once again proves he is worthy of mention among the greats. Tierra Whack takes listeners on a funky ride with her quirky fifteen-track debut Whack World. Following the smash single “Mumbo Jumbo,” Whack World is a whimsical, funhouse inspired journey rooted in serious rap shit.

Jersey spitters Dre Skuffs and Passport Rav team as The Foreigners to raise the bar for duo rap with their self-titled nine-track EP. Passport Rav provides beats for a pair of cuts. Trac-Qaeda, Pawcut, Lace434, Bang Musik, Andre Rooler and N-Omega handle the rest of the production.
