Madlib's back with the dusty loops. This morning, the Stones Throw staple shared a new instrumental "10 Summers Old" off a freshly-released limited edition 7-inch vinyl.
HEAR: 20 Minutes of Rare Madlib Productions on Beat Konducta in Lecce
The A-side cut is classic Konduct and is only available via Rappcatts and Technical Equipment Supply, a Michigan record store that has pressed rarities for Aphex Twin, Soundmurderer and Atlas in years past. It arrives ahead of his forthcoming handful of Medicine Show tour dates and should (barely) fill the void of a new collaborative album with Freddie Gibbs, which the Indiana rapper confirmed had been completed earlier this year. Bandana, the sequel to their classic 2014 album Pinata, has no official release date just yet, but it shouldn't be too long now.
