Listen To Pat Benatar's New Song "Shine" Made For Women’s March On Washington
Tomorrow, Saturday, January 21st the Women’s March On Washington will commence not only in D.C. but across the country. In support of the march Pat Benatar teamed up with producer and songwriter Linda Perry and Neil Giraldo to create an original song expressing solidarity with the demonstrators. The song is Benatar’s first in over ten years. In a press release Bentar remarked, “Even though I can’t be at the Women’s March on Washington in person, I wanted to show my support for everyone marching and the importance of standing up for women’s rights.” Bentar continued, “By joining together and lifting each other up, we will show the world that women’s rights must continue to move forward — we’re not going back.” Over 100,000 people are expected join the march.
