A previously unreleased John Coltrane album is coming next month.

On September 27th, Impulse!/Ume will release a new album from legendary saxophonist John Coltrane. The album is called Blue World and it was recorded in 1964, the same year he recorded Crescent and A Love Supreme. The music was recorded for the Quebec film The Cat in the Bag. (Only a couple of minutes of music actually ended up in the film.)
