The Purist has low-key been the man behind some of your favorite cuts from your favorite rappers, including Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Mick Jenkins, Your Old Droog and now with the arrival of his latest loosie, none other than Freddie Gibbs is added to that laundry list. Today, the London-based beat smith let go of yet another soulful, G-funk channeling cut with the arrival of “Pimp Hand,” an apparent ode to The Mac AKA Ron O’Neil. The Purist’s forthcoming Pyrex Scholar tape (which will play host to the track) drops March 17th and can be preordered via Bandcamp today.
