Might’ve assumed that Zack Villere was going to have his moment when Matt Martians insisted the Louisiana-native was one to watch when he stopped by our offices back in January. Then, Villere’s “Cool” made us all want to be just that when an irresistibly charming video for the single took the internets by storm. Only a few weeks later, Villere announced that his debut full-length album, Little World, would be arriving imminently. Today, Little World lands with playful experiments and heavy lushness. Though it’s not as much a terrestrial trip as a full float through the mind of a multi-instrumentalist making his mark in the ever-expanding r&b realm.
