Arµ-2 - 'RE: Create The Classic' EP [Stream]

Tokyo-based producer Arµ-2 aka Akira Noto serves up the RE: Create The Classic EP - a short collection of reworks featuring deep bass, broken beats and some of the most endearing and familiar voices from 90's hip-hop and r&b. Arµ-2 applies a playful ear to the productions, which feature vocals from Brandy and Destiny's Child with healthy dose of Alicia Keys and J Dilla. Arµ-2's takes are all built upon corpulent bass lines and impossibly lush chords. Adding to the already infectious is his unique approach to pitch correction, which leaves some of the vox sounding like they were recorded by Mint Condition's Stokley Williams. The result of all these quirks and slight adjustments is a collection of tracks that are perfect to zone out to and just curious enough that beatmakers might find themselves hitting rewind for a closer look at all of the moving parts.
