Anna Diop Lands the Role of Starfire in the Upcoming 'Titans' Series

24: Legacy alum Anna Diop has landed one of the lead roles in the upcoming live-action version of the popular DC comic series Titans.

Diop, who is from Senegal, will play Starfire, a no nonsense alien princess who is seeking asylum on Earth. This is the second major casting news to be revealed this month. A couple of weeks ago it was announced that newcomer Teagan Croft will play the other lead, Raven.

This live-action version of Titans will premiere in 2018. The show will be a part of a slate of a new DC related content that will be on a digital service. There is no official release date for the show or the streaming service yet.
