Over here at HQ, Thundercat's prowess needs no introduction or qualification. He's a got damn genius with virtuoso skill, and he's been apart of some of the most important recordings of the decade. We don't have to name them. Y'all already know dude's resumé is impeccable. So impeccable even, that he's getting props from artists like The Red Chili Peppers, as evidenced by a recently unearthed clip from their album release party in Burbank late last months, where their own madcap bass man, Flea, welcomed Thundercat to the stage to duel. The results of which can be seen below. None of this is to say that Cat in any shape or form needs a co-sign from the most resilient greasy white dudes on the planet.
