After Nearly a Decade, Wu Wear Returns with a Holiday 2017 Collection

A triumphant return, ten years in the making

Back from the depths of Shaolin, Wu Wear has turned in its first collection in nearly a decade.

Founded in 1995 by Wu-Tang Clan executive producer and merchandising visionary, Oliver "Power" Grant, the iconic streetwear brand closed up chop in 2008 after pioneering hip-hop's artist-inspired clothing racket for 13 years; a venture, Puff Daddy, Jay-Z and later, Pharrell, would model their own non-musical empires after.

First announced in late-summer as a 25th-anniversary commemoration of the foundational hip-hop group's debut album, Enter The 36th Chamber, Wu Wear's return was originally slated for a 2018 debut. And while a full line is still expected next year, a Holiday collection has arrived, perhaps as a litmus for anticipation.

Though it's seasonal, the line doesn't appear to be holding anything back, featuring a wild array of tees, hoodies, long-sleeves, caps and beenies in a simple and clean color palette, all graced with the group's logo, of course.
