Timbaland released his soaring new single "Smile" Tuesday, giving fans a fresh taste of his long-anticipated upcoming LP Opera Noir. Featuring the shimmering vocal talents of V Bozeman, "Smile," features Timbo's trademark gritty funk backbeat and mountainous layered vocals. It also deals in touching, simple sentiments: "Smile" is a song that pays tribute to an old, reliable love, the kind that's always there for better or for worse.

Fans of Fox's mega-success Empire will surely recognize Bozeman, who stars in the series and is both a formidable musical talent and on-screen presence in her own right.
