This Kids Version Of 'The Big Lebowski' Is An Incredible Tribute, Man

Dubbed as an homage to the genius of Ethan and Joel CoenBittersweet Pizza takes the brothers' 1998 classic, The Big Lebowski, and offers a fresh take on it. Specifically, a child's take. Produced by ShaggieTV, and brought to this writer's attention by the good folks at GeekTyrant, the condensed version of The Dude's tale tosses some of the edgier characters and plot points and underscores the film's greatest achievements: the characters, man.

Donny's now Danny, Walter's now Waldo, and The Dude, well, he's The Dude. Thankfully, they've struck old pederass, Jesus Quintana, out altogether (though it appears he'll live again in a John Turturro led spinoff that's being shot in NYC as we speak.) Many of the original film's most redeeming scenes are still intact, only slightly transformed to meet the G-rating (a pizza parlor is now the all-holy meeting grounds for the team.) At 13 minutes in length it's not the sequel or prequel or even loose extension of The Big Lebowski you've been hoping for. Just a very entertaining tribute to one of the best films of a generation. And you can watch it down below for free ninety-nine.
