The Okayplayer realm may not be all too familiar with Soulwax, but today just might be the day the Belgian dance-floor-rockers make a lasting impression with a new remix of Tame Impala's "Let It Happen." The trio pulls at the seams of our Aussie psychedelics' lead-off single, stretching the already cerebral disco cut with a dirty bass groove, phasers on the vocal and even some syrupy string arrangements, transforming the cut into something otherworldly altogether. Soulwax's efforts come as a rather quick follow-up to HAIM's all-too-cool cover of "Cause I'm A Man" and adds another brilliant take on a track we already loved so damn much.
