Roddy Ricch and Ty Dolla $ign perform at West Coast Customs in Los Angeles.

Roddy Ricch is the latest guest on NPR's Tiny Desk series. Originally, Roddy was scheduled to appear on the series in June. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Roddy decided to host the concert at West Coast Customs, the Los Angeles garage famous from MTV's Pimp My Ride.

1500 or Nothin serves as the backing band for the concert. Ty Dolla $ign makes a guest appearance to perform "Bacc Seat" from the Billboard-topping album Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial. As he's previously done at concerts, Roddy begins the set playing "Perfect Timing" on the keyboard. Stream the full performance below.

1500 or Nothin members who showed up consist of: Lamar Edwards (keys), Charles "Uncle Chucc" Hamilton (guitar), Christopher "Brody" Brown (bass), Larrance Dopson (percussion), Nick Smith (drums). The band was joined by Ty Dolla $ign, Shaunise R. Harris (vocals), Garren Edwards (vocals), and Tayler L. Green (vocals).

The band also includes James Fauntleroy. In total, the band has earned over 21 Grammy nominations. They worked as co-directors for the 2013 Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas. The collective has worked with major names like Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Nipsey Hussle, T.I., Ludacris, Meek Mill, and Travis Scott.

The founder of the group, Larrance Dopson, produced six songs on Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor 2. In 2012, Brody Brown teamed up with Bruno Mars to write "Grenade." The song spent four weeks atop Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
