When Prince decides to pull a Prince and demand something be taken off the internet, resistance is usually futile. The R&B legend is notorious for going after any and all digital evidence of his work on sites like YouTube and SoundCloud, and has often required that fans at his shows give up their phones, in an effort to quash would-be bootleggers.

But what happens when Prince tries to remove a cover performance from YouTube? In the case of Radiohead, it seems, he doesn't always get the last word. Video of him covering the band's 1993 single "Creep" has reappeared online after Thom Yorke himself demanded it be re-uploaded. His reasoning? It's Radiohead's own damn song.

Yhorke is credited with saying "Well, tell him to unblock it. It's our ... song" in the video's description, and in an apparent gesture of cooperation Prince himself tweeted out the video link Tuesday morning. This version of "Creep" comes from Prince's 2008 headlining set at the Coachella Music Festival and is, we must say, fantastic. Delivered at a slow churn with the Purple One's aching vocals, "Creep" becomes a spot-on 80s candles-and-red-wine love tune, in spite of its self-effacing lyrics. Oh, also, guitar solos. Lots of guitar solos. We're just going to chalk this one as a win for Prince, Radiohead and music fans everywhere; watch it below.
