The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office revealed the news in a press release, saying:

"A grand jury returned the indictment against Eric Ronald Holder Jr. on May 9 for one count of murder, two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. The indictment, which was unsealed today, also includes allegations that Holder personally used a handgun and caused great bodily injury and death."

The two counts of assault with a firearm for the people who were also injured as a result of the shooting that led to Hussle's death are new charges. Holder pleaded not guilty to the charges. If convicted as charged, he faces a possible maximum sentence of life in state prison.

Since his death, Hussle's Marathon Clothing Store has grossed more than $10 million in sales. The South Central Los Angeles business announced that it will no longer act as a brick and mortar store but the online shop will continue to remain up and running.

Reps from the store posted a note to its official Instagram account last week that read, "We appreciate the unprecedented outpour of support. It means [a lot] to our team and family. We are working around the clock to fulfill every order placed."
