French producer and multi-instrumentlist Medline is set to release his debut album, People Make The World Go Round, on April 19th. The LP pays tribute to 90's hip-hop by re-inventing the songs that golden age rappers sampled. Playing all of the instruments himself in addition to producing, Medline has presented us with a video for his solid twist on Roy Ayers' classic "Everobody Loves The Sunshine." You better recognize the original track as being flipped by everyone from Naughty By Nature and Brand Nubian to D'Angelo and Mary J. Blige. Medline's version grooves hard and puts a fresh spin on a familiar tune. We here at OKP love to pay respect to those who influenced hip hop's DNA and are glad Medline is doing just that.
