Hear dvsn's Very Prince-y Remix Of Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On"

I don't know about the rest of you, but OVO's dvsn is quickly becoming one of our favorite r&b upstarts. This past weekend, the once-veiled pulled the trigger on the their debut album's release a full five days before it was initially slated to drop following a full-blown takeover of OVO's Beats 1 program. Their seizure of the internet airwaves provided us with an intimate glance into their anxiously-awaited debut, along with some very purple remixes of r&b gems. Yesterday we got our morning started with a deep purple dose of dvsn's "One In A Million" remix, blengin Aaliyah's '95 classic with eternal glow of Prince's "Purple Rain."

Today, we bring you another dvsn remix that was tucked into the program, namely, their take on Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On." Utilizing a similar palette of sleek, almost metallic, yet warm tones and scorching guitar work, dvsn make this thing sound like First Avenue in '84. And we aren't even close to mad. You can stream dvsn's remix of "Let's Get It On" down below, but if you're looking to get properly acquainted with dvsn, grab a copy of their SEPT. 5th LP on iTunes today and hold tight for their next transmission.
