Kanye West Launches Yeezus Tour In Seattle w/ Jesus Stunt Double + Magic Mountain

Kanye West launched his Yeezus Tour last night, much to the pleasure of a packed house at Key Arena in Seattle. An artist whose had quite a press cycle both at home and abroad (Peep his BBC Radio 1 Interview if you've yet to indulge,) is finally seeing the fruits of his labor come to light in his first tour in 5 years. The stage was furnished with an enormous mountain and graphic display that set the ground for what seemed like an epic spectacle for Seattle concert goers. Yeezy dropped a 27 song set  for those in attendance, pulling out all the stops in a performance that spanned his entire discography and included everything from mountaintop orations to immaculately clad choirs, with even a Jesus look-a-like taking the stage at one point.

A show billed as Kanye's first "solo" show in 5 years, actually boasts a colossal opening act in hip-hop's golden-boy Kendrick Lamar who delivered 8 of his best before Yeezy took to the stage (not to mention, A Tribe Called Quest will be delivering the last shows of their illustrious career during the tour's Brooklyn stops.) So if you haven't gathered it yet, the show is kind of a big deal. For a peek into what's to come when Yeezus makes its way to your block, check the videos below of Ye' going in on some Pride Rock ish and go cop a ticket stat!
