A small side of justice was recently served. George Zimmerman, the man who murdered seventeen year-old Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida, was hit in the face while at a restaurant in Seminole County, Florida after he allegedly bragged about killing Martin. Zimmerman, who was charged with second degree murder in the killing of Martin, was found not guilty. According to Zimmerman, an argument ensued between him and another patron at the Florida restaurant, resulting in Zimmerman being threatened and physically assaulted. Zimmerman, who denies that he was bragging about killing Martin, called 911, a call that lasted for around seven minutes. He then asked for "three or four cops" to come to the scene. Zimmerman, when asked by a 911 operator, agreed that an ambulance should be sent because he was bleeding. Listen to the recording of Zimmerman's initial 911 call about Martin, who was black, and how suspicious he deemed the seventeen year-old to have looked below. "This guy looks like he is up to no good or he is on drugs or something." Zimmerman said. Martin was staying with his father, who lived in the Florida housing complex. This isn't the first time Zimmerman has been targeted with violence. A while back, during a road rage incident, that was apparently apart of an ongoing dispute, a man attempted to kill Zimmerman.
