The curtain is soon closing on George Clinton's half-millennium tenure as onstage frontman of the foundational funk collective, Parliament-Funkadelic. But his modeling career has a very mothership trajectory.

The 77-year-old funksman is the face (and foot) of an exclusive Sneakersnstuff colorway of adidas' recently revamped Yung-1 model (a reimagined take on their Falcon Dorf of mid-to-late-90s circulation.) Originally rebooted in the sneaker giant's homage to Dragon Ball Z, the SNS colorways scale back the eccentricities, opting for a tonal design that offers a royal all-purple version along with a slate-grey. Both colorways feature premium suede, leather, and mesh uppers. SNS's exclusive adidas Yung-1s will arrive on October 13th both in-store and online for $130 USD.
