Not everyone agrees though.

Debates pitting artists against one another is very common on social media, and even moreso with Swizz Beatz and Timbaland's Verzuz battle series currently happening. Some artists themselves have even joined in; earlier this week French Montana declared that he could go "neck for neck" against Kendrick Lamar, a statement that a nunber of rap fans and even fellow rappers (looking at you, Young Thug) disagreed with.

Now, one of the latest pairings to pop up on social media? Erykah Badu versus Lauryn Hill.
