'David Bowie: The Last Five Years' Documentary Premiering On BBC This Weekend

A new David Bowiedocumentary featuring unreleased music, alternate artwork, and footage is coming to BBC Two. The docuemntary, which is titled David Bowie: The Last Five Years, will premiere on January 7th. David Bowie: The Last Five Years will focus on the end of Bowie's career by looking at his last studio album Blackstar andhis album The Next Day, which was released in 2013. It will also coverthe musical Lazarus and Bowie's 2003 Reality tour. The one year anniversary of Bowie's death is nearing. Bowie passed away on January 10, 2016 in Manhattan, New York City. He was 69 years-old. The documentary includes multiple interviews with Bowie's collaborators including Maria SchneiderDonny McCaslin, Jonathan BarnbrookJohan RenckRobert Fox, who was the producer of Lazarus, and many others. David Bowie: The Last Five Years will premiere on BBC Twoat 9 p.m. GMT this coming Saturday, January 7.
