Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" is Very Good & Very Explicit

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion also dropped a wild video for the song.

So...that's what "WAP" means.

After taking a year off from making music, Cardi B has released her new single. The song is called "WAP" and it's a collaboration with rap powerhouse Megan Thee Stallion. It is the first time the two have collaborated on a track.

The song was produced by Ayo Keys and features a sample of Frank Ski’s Baltimore club classic "Whores in This House.” "WAP" stands for "Wet ass pussy." And the song is as explicit as you would think it would be. (The chorus includes the line, "Bring a bucket and a mop for this wet-ass pussy.")

"WAP" is good because it showcases the strengths of both rappers. Cardi is charismatic, strutting on the track; while Meg, always the technician, utilizes a rapid-fire, dexterous flow.

Alongside the release of the song — and the limited edition vinyl — came a video. The "WAP" video, which looks like cost millions of dollars, features the two rappers in a sexed-up version of a Willy Wonka mansion that features tigers, snakes, and sculptures of butts on the wall.

There are features from Normani, Rosaliá, and Kylie Jenner.

Reactions to the song and video were almost unanimously positive. However, there were complaints on social media about the inclusion of Kylie Jenner:

"WAP" is the third big collabo Megan has done since her rise over the last two years. Meg dropped "Hot Girl Summer" with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign last year. Then, this year, she released the "Savage Remix" with Beyoncé. And now she has "WAP."

As for Cardi, she has been quiet for a while. "WAP" is the first release from Cardi since "Press," which dropped last year. Watch the video for Cardi and Megan's collaboration "WAP" below.
