Dutch microphone-mistress (and OKP First Look!) MC Melodee returns to the set with a new video shot on location in Madrid (by the approporately named "Chancleta Films" AKA director Pacool). The song "Gotta Get Away" is pure mellowness composed of a silky jazz-inflected track from regular collaboratorCookin' Soul and Melodee's infectious rasp on the rhyme, straight Brooklyn-in-Amsterdam flow as she chats "au re-vawr like a rock stawr" to everyday stress. The holiday theme is perfectly timed for spring fever here in the states--or Queensday in the Netherlands (I don't know but based off these pics Melodee sent us, it's mainly an excuse for Dutch people to get mad--see after the jump). This is a teaser for a new full-length Melodee mixtape dropping soon (possibly by the end of the month) and featuring cameos from Chuck Inglish, Oh No, Smif "N Wessun and a whole lot more.
