After speaking with Kintaro, also known as Jameel Bruner of the fabulous Bruner family, for last week's First Look Friday it is apparent that there aren't enough hours in a day to contain the talents of this Los Angeles star.

We have reason to believe that we inspired his latest cut, "Superstar," as the multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and singer said explicitly that his goals are fame and fortune. His previous tracks such as "Dry Ice" and the friend zone opus, "Don't Mind A Label" were focused on making a tingle in your spine, while "Superstar" gives you something entirely different.

With a mixture of hard-hitting drums, happy-go-lucky synths and all-around sunshine-y vibes from Kintaro — the track gives us '70s soul wit a hint of real life emotion. "Baby, I know you're a superstar," he confidently assures the focus of his attention on the chorus. The best advice for 2017 can be offered on "Superstar," as Kintaro suggests to not let anyone "fuck your flow up," which is poignant in these days.

The jury is still out on whether this means that an full-length project is on the way, but if and when it does, we'll be right there ready to share it with y'all. Until then, press play on "Superstar" below, and share your thoughts with Kintaro (and us!) on Twitter @Pejondis.
