Badbadnotgood Ghostface Killah
It's here, y'all. The gritty, soulmatic goodness that is Ghostface Killah & BADBADNOTGOOD's collaborative Sour Soul LP is here and it's pretty damn glorious. If you've been anywhere in the vicinity of the rap blogosphere over the last few months, you're probably more than aware of the unconventional pairing's undeniable chemistry, and they've been putting it on display in every way imaginable. We heard "Tone's Rap" by way of gut-busting BitTorrent bundle, zapped by their wholly psychedelic "Ray Gun" with MF DOOMas one of many gunmen, Elzhi helped bring in the "Gunshowers" and we were graced with the "Street Knowledge" just last night. But it seems it's time to get the full treatment from the wonderful folks over at Lex Records, who have gifted the world an early peek at the project that just keeps on giving. And when the credits get to rolling, you can look back and think "my, how could Sour Soul be so damn sweet?" While the stream is available below, you won't have to wait much longer to add the album to your collection, as it drops next Tuesday, February 24th with special edition gold vinyl being pressed (via Fat Beats) and the digital available on iTunes.
