Audio Premiere: Bird - La Notte [LP Stream]

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Toronto based singer/songwriter/producer Bird got (and held) my attention upon my first listen to his single "Crazy." From there, he showed off a more hip-hop inclined side with his Little Brother and Notes To Self featured song "Still Shine" (also dope), and then you got a taste of his purely instrumental side with his song "Maybe Someday" (premiered on OKP). He's a man of many talents, and he showcases them all for you with his brand new album, La Notte. The LP hits shelves tomorrow, but we're premiering a stream of the full album for you to rock to before you make that purchase, tomorrow (pre-order). Bird is said to be heavily influenced by soul, hip-hop, and early film scores from the 60's and 70's, and all of those influences shine brightly on La Notte - take a listen, below.
