The 2017 Emmy nominations have been revealed

"The Worst Guys" are about to have another moment in their seemingly endless year of accolades. This morning, the Emmy nominations for this year's award show were unveiled, featuring a grip of nods for Donald Glover and his smash series Atlanta (Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Writing for a Comedy Series and Directing for a Comedy Series) along with a more surprising tip to of the New Era to Chance The Rapper for his season-closing appearance on Saturday Night Live (nominated 22 times in 2017) late last year.

But Chano and Glover weren't the only ones getting love this morning. Ava DuVernay's Netflix documentary 13th has received eight Emmy nominations, ranging from Outstanding Directing to Outstanding Writing; and Aziz Ansari and his own hit show Master of None are up for a trio of categories (Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Writing for a Comedy Series, and the new category, Outstanding Music Supervision,) while Stranger Things and Westworld appear to lead total nominations with 18 and 22 nominations, respectively.
