For those lucky enough to be in attendance, last night The Roots pulled no punches and spared no famous friend at their all-star performance with the Dallas POPS at the Music Factory.

The evening saw appearances from Robert Glasper, Erykah Badu, Bilal, Chaka Khan and Rufus, as well as Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, who headed the orchestra as conductor (and popped up as the lone violin in Thundercat’s entrancing Tiny Desk Concert this morning.)

And while the sad reality is, like most photos, a clip could never capture the magnitude of the moment. Luckily, the full two-hour-plus performance has been made available via Twitch and can be see above. The group has reportedly been working on a new album, a follow-up to their 2013 release, ...And Then You Shoot Your Cousin, tentatively-titled, End Game. 9th Wonder and Salaam Remi are slated to executive produce.
