Terrace Martin, the Grammy winning musician, multi-instrumentalist, and producer performed some cuts that include "Think of you" and Valdez off Crenshaw" that were recorded by Spacerocket Media for SoulandJazz.com back in November 2016. Scroll down to check out the jams. Martin, despite being known for his work producing for artists such as Kendrick Lamar, The Game, Snoop Dogg, YG, and others, is doing some fantastic work on his own. Terrace Martin was on keys and vocals and Trevor Lawrence Jr. was on drums for the performance. Taber Gable was on keys and Brandon Eugene Owens on bass. Rose Gold was on vocals for the track "Think of you." Both tracks are from Terrace Martin's Grammy nominated album Velvet Portraits. The project, which is Martin's sixth studio album, dropped back in April of this year. Velvet Portraits was released through Martin's label Sounds of Crenshaw Records via Ropeadope Records. Head to Bandcamp to listen to and cop the album. The album boasts features from Robert Glasper, Thundercat, Kamasi Washington, Lalah Hathaway, Tiffany Gouche, and more.
