SOSUPERSAM Makes The Camera Sweat With Her New, Steamy Video For “Drip”

The Soulection member, SOSUPERSAM, has released another jewel from her Priority EP in the form of this visual for the song “Drip”.

Singer-songwriter and DJ SOSUPERSAM has proven her heroic powers to be more than just catchy singles and deep-cut infused mixes. As shared on her new EP titled Priority, Sam has made it known that she is coming for our attention, our ears, our hearts, and now—with the new video for “Drip”—our eyeballs.

A steamy single which literally makes your screen sweat, SOSUPERSAM sports an alluring getup, glowy makeup, and playful accessories in Alexandra Gavillet’s visuals, which is made up of a “series of provocative vignettes.” The beautifully talented artist was given a singular focus by Alexandra Gavillet, which perfectly aligned with the style and type of R&B that she is producing.

"When I think of ‘Drip’ I think of the first pink traces of a sunrise after a blurry adventurous night out," Sam told us via email. "The director, Alexandra Gavillet, and I really wanted to capture a pink haze. Vivid color is something she specializes in, and the hazy quality came from our decision to shoot the video entirely on film. ‘Drip’ has such strong production we made sure the visuals matched the musicality."

With the video out now, SOSUPERSAM is also hitting the road for the Priority EP North American tour. Kicking off later this week on May 10 at The Roxy in Los Angelese, Sam will hit all the major spots before closing out in Toronto at Adelaide Hall on May 29th.
