DeCarlo Can't Seem To Make His "Mind Up" In New Music Video [Premiere]

DeCarlo Coles, better known as DeCarlo, finds himself having to confront several romantic interests in the music video for "Mind Up."

Directed by Josh Sikkema, the video, which is an exclusive premiere to Okayplayer, is a colorful and surreal experience as DeCarlo sings about trying to maintain a relationship — or relationships. In between scenes of him floating through space, there are also scenes where the singer-songwriter is surrounded by four women, each one stoic, seeming to wait for a response from him.

"Everybody on you / I gotta make a move," DeCarlo croons. But by the end of the video, it seems as if he's still indecisive, the women disappearing one by one, and the singer left by himself. The slow R&B song is in similar territory with artists such as The Weeknd, Jeremih, The Dream, and others.

Before "Mind Up," DeCarlo released a music video for "Lit Right Now" as well as a lyric video for "Traffic."

DeCarlo previewed the "Mind Up" video Sunday on his Instagram.

DeCarlo can be found online via Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook as well as his own website.
