Watch Anderson .Paak Perform a Fiery Gospel Take of "Come Down" in a Church
Whether on a Roman roof or in stateside church, Anderson .Paak can and will do it all. Ahead of his Grammys debut, .Paak is showing the Recording Academy that their votes are safe in his hands. Today, the Oxnard-native has shared a new clip of him performing his Malibu standout, "Come Down" in a church with a full choir in tow. The gospel rendition commences with the choir taking lead, parting only to reveal the multi-hyphenate sitting behind the skins and holding service at the pulpit.
The performance sets the stage for this weekend's well-earned outing, as he's nominated for two golden gramophones and is slated to perform with the surviving members of A Tribe Called Quest. He'll join a prestigious roster of performers, including Bruno Mars, Rihanna, John Legend, Chance The Rapper and more. Watch as Anderson .Paak leads the sermon in the clip below. Pick up a copy of his breakout album Malibu on iTunes today or head over to Stones Throw to cop his collaborative project, Yes Lawd!, with Knxwledge as the dynamic duo, NxWorries.
