MF DOOM & Ghostface Killah Are Planning A Cosmic Live Debut For DOOMSTARKS In October
As if new DOOMSTARKS being featured on Adult Swim's summer single series wasn't enough to throw the rap-blogosphere into a manic frenzy, it appears the mighty Ghostface Killah & MF DOOM may have a few extra tricks up their sleeve before the year's up. According to a press release, the dastardly duo will be rocking in tandem (kinda) in October at Miami's III Point Festival, where, get this, GFK will be firmly planted on stage and DOOM will be transmitting from "the other side of time" on a live screen, eventually being transported to the stage to rock in the flesh. The material will apparently be from the forthcoming DOOMSTARKS LP, which Ghost has already confirmed would be arriving at some point this year, to much joy and a bit of skepticism from the masses (not like we haven't heard that one before.) But whether the album lands or does not, it's hard to deny the weight of the event. III Points Festival will be taking place in Miami's Mana Wynwood on October 9th through the 11th and is a must cop stub for anyone in the area with the likes of Toro Y Moi, Run The Jewels, King Krule, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and so many more on the bill.
