Lil Wayne's Old Notebook With Lyrics From 1999 Is on Sale for $250K

The notebook survived Hurricane Katrina.

Lil Wayne's 1999 notebook full of rhymes has been unearthed.

The Lousiana legend, known for freestyling all of his tracks, once wrote down lyrics in the past, and one of his notebooks is now on sale.

According to TMZ, the notebook, written in 1999 when Wayne was a fresh-faced 17-year-old rapper, is now on the market for $250, 000. Moments in Time is reportedly handling the sale of the rare collection that features lyrics from "We On Fire" and "I Feel" during Wayne's time with the Hot Boys.

The person who reportedly found the notebook says they discovered it in a car that once belonged to Cash Money Records. He had kept the book boxed up in his garage but was later forced to evacuate once Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005. Once he returned, his home was destroyed but Weezy's notebook apparently survived.
