It’s a big week for some big names to drop some big albums. Lots of hotly-anticipated projects that are finally hitting streaming and they’re from some real heavyweights across genres.

After his high profile legal ordeal (and recent PR nightmare), Young Thug finally drops his long-awaited UY SCUTI , but he’s far from the only superstar with new heat. None other than Mariah Carey releases her sixteenth album, Here For It All. Meanwhile, Doja Cat goes off with her latest, Vie

Continuing his string of strong singles, Hit-Boy teams up with Lefty Gunplay and Spank Nitti James for his latest; and NOLA legend Juvenile joins forces with his old running mate Mannie Fresh and Dee-1 for a new track.

There’s also the latest from ScarLip, plus there’s new Rita Ora. Khalid has everybody talking with “Out of Body,” and we’ve also got the new single “Moon” from Daniel Caesar, a collaboration with Bon Iver.

Each week, Okayplayer will deliver a roundup of all the latest new heat from some of our favorite artists. Check out the latest offerings in our playlist below:

NEW SONGS

JUVENILE FEAT. MANNIE FRESH, DEE-1 - “HE GONE”

After dropping “Hot Boy Summer,” the New Orleans legend is back with the second single from his forthcoming album, Boiling Point. And he’s got longtime collaborator Mannie Fresh and Dee-1—bridging generations of NOLA hip-hop.

DANIEL CAESAR W/BON IVER - “MOON”

A collaboration that just makes you want more. Caesar’s upcoming album, Son Of Spergy, is due soon, and this gorgeously yearning single is a clear indicator of what fans can expect.

KHALID - “OUT OF BODY”

This industrial-leaning single is a new beginning for the singer. The music video is already drawing attention, as fans are eager to hear Khalid’s first album since he publicly came out last year.

POLO G - “CHINATOWN PT 2”

A sequel to one of the most memorable tracks from 2020’s The Goat, this hazy track never loses its edge. His tense delivery switches up as he goes from aggressive to introspective, but it’s a fitting follow up to one of his best.

RITA ORA - “ALL NATURAL”

She’s called her new single her “most personal” to date, as Ora embraces loving oneself even at your hardest moments. And the music video is directed by her husband, Taika Waititi–their third time collaborating.

PARTYOF2 - “OUT OF BODY”

The duo flexes their rock / alternative bonafides on another preview of their album due in October and ahead of their U.S. headlining tour.

ARAABMUZIK - “LOST IN A MAZE”

Following the release of the long-awaited sequel earlier this year, the superproducer is prepping the 15th anniversary edition of Electronic Dream– which includes this brand new track.

BRUISER WOLF AND HARRY FRAUD FEAT. BENNY THE BUTCHER - “RAISED BY DOPE”

Gifted with one of hip-hop’s most uniquely off-kilter deliveries–with a knack for inventive storytelling — Bruiser teams with Fraud for the official first single from their forthcoming collaborative project.

SCARLIP FEAT. FENDIDA RAPPER AND DANK DEMOSS - “BIG GIRLS”

She’s been bringing the goods this year. Here, she teams with FendiDA and Dank as the trio delivers an empowerment anthem for the ages with this new track. It ain’t about weight–it’s about confidence.

HIT-BOY FEAT. LEFTY GUNPLAY AND SPANK NITTI JAMES – "N.T.A.B."

He has been on quite a run throughout the year, flexing his newfound indie status. On his latest single, the superproducer drops a heat rock with Lefty and Nitti that makes you wonder what else he’s got waiting in the vault.

NEW ALBUMS

YOUNG THUG - ‘UY SCUTI’

He’s had more drama play out this year than most have in a lifetime, so fans are understandably eager to hear how the ATL rap superstar channels his pain and pathos into his new project. And he’s got appearances from Cardi B, T.I., Sexyy Red, YFN Lucci, 21 Savage, Travis Scott and more.

MARIAH CAREY - ‘HERE FOR IT ALL’

Her first few singles from earlier this year have been some of her most inspired work in years. The diva returns with a new album that features appearances from Shenseea, Kehlani, Anderson. Paak and The Clark Sisters.

PEEZY - ‘STILL GHETTO’

The star-studded project from the Detroit spitter includes heavyweight collaborators like Rick Ross, French Montana, Big Sean, G Herbo and more, cementing Peezy’s place as both a pillar of Detroit hip-hop and a respected voice in the game.

LADY WRAY - ‘COVER GIRL’

An album that radiates with self love and self-awareness. Her third album on Big Crown Records finds the singer-songwriter tapping into classic soul sounds of the '60s and '70s, delivering one of her most assured projects yet.

ROCHELLE JORDAN - ‘THROUGH THE WALL’

After dropping singles “Crave,” “Doing It To” and “Sweet Sensation,” the British-Canadian artist reteams with frequent collaborator KLSH for this follow-up to  Play With The Changes.

JAY WORTHY - ‘ONCE UPON A TIME’

He had a lot to say. The gifted emcee drops his double studio LP, and it features Conway The Machine, Westside Gunn, Alchemist, Dave East and Ab-Soul.

MG LIL BUBBA - BUB’S BURGERS 2: DELUXE

With spots from That Mexican OT and YN Jay, the Texas rapper drops this massive release – which he says is the final entry in his “Burgers” run.

OLIVIA DEAN - ‘THE ART OF LOVING’

She sounds comfortable and assured in her own skin. The British singer-songwriter is breaking free of the “neo-soul” box to fully embrace her artistry.

GMO STAX - ‘COUNT ME IN’

Emerging from Detroit’s thriving rap community, and armed with collabs featuring Peezy and EST GEE, Stax taps into an undeniable underdog energy that could only come from The D.
